My name is Sarah Megerle and I am a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I have 11 years of nursing experience in the mental health field. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing at Indiana University Purdue University of Columbus and started working as a psychiatric nurse in a residential treatment facility for adolescents. I received my master’s degree from Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis. I also completed Indiana Lend program and have specialized training in neurodevelopmental disorders.
My treatment approach is holistic, patient-centered, culturally sensitive and evidence-based. I believe in creating an individualized plan of care that values client involvement, interprofessional collaboration and evidenced-based practice. My goal for my clients is to feel empowered to treat their illness through supportive education in a stigma free environment.
In my free time, I love spending time with my husband and children. My hobbies include traveling, reading and watching my kids play sports.
